Slasher Summer

This book is the perfect love letter to the cult classic horror movies of the 80s and 90s.

The cover mimicking the looks of an old VHS tape gives the nostalgic feel and supports the story of the 7 friends that reunite post-high school at the cabin where their favorite horror movie was filmed. In high school, these 7 individuals formed a group called the Jumpscare Society where they bonded over their love for horror movies.

This reunion was meant to be a reunion to show their growth and accomplishments post high school graduation until it turned into a hunt for a maniac with an axe.

Told from the perspective of each of the 7 characters, we get up close and personal trying to escape a masked killer.

Will your favorite character make it out alive? You’ll have to read it to find out.
