The Gingerbread Bakery

Laurie Gilmore has done it again! The Gingerbread Bakery is the fifth installment in her Dream Harbor series and could very possibly be the best one yet! I hate to pick favorites, but this one had me absolutely obsessed with the chemistry between Mac and Annie.

Annie owns The Gingerbread Bakery and Mac owns the pub down the street, after a secret history ended without notice, there’s always been tension and animosity between the two of them. When Annie swears to keep it civil until Logan and Jeanie’s wedding is over, they have no choice but to be kind to each other. Is that kindness misinterpreted as something more, or have they just secretly loved each other for the last 10 years?

This book keeps you turning the pages and honestly, I don’t know how it’ll get better than this one! I definitely am holding The Daisy Chain Flower Shop to some high standards after this one.
