After a few days of relaxing, I remembered that I needed to make a post about my last read of 2025.

Meghan Quinn’s How My Neighbor Stole Christmas is a fun, spicy spin on How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Full of puns and easter eggs related to the original Dr. Seuss story are fun to find throughout the story. A very thoughtfully written story about a great aunt who only has her nieces' best interests at heart when she fakes an injury and asks her nieces to come take care of her in Kringletown…where it’s Christmas all year round.

When her niece Storee is reunited with childhood friend Cole, things don’t go very well and they decide to compete against each other to see who has more Christmas spirit.
