We’re a Bad Idea, Right?

I bought this book on recommendation from a bookseller at Barnes & Noble because it was their monthly pick. It is the first book I’ve read by K.L Walther and it was such a cute read. If fake dating is your trope of choice, you’ll love this one.

Audrey Barbour is a senior in high school and wants to follow her passion, glassblowing, on a fellowship. Everyone around her seems to be discouraging her from doing so. Her best friend, Henry, proposes a fake-dating scheme to win back his ex-girlfriend. This feels like the first step to shaking up her life. The second is a high risk, high reward when her parents go out of town—renting out her parent’s mansion online—to pay for her fellowship.

When things start to unravel, Audrey will be forced to face her future; who will be in it and where will she be?
